Hello Mr.'Save Rupee Design Symbol',
It is not surprising to see that your organization is pretty active in paying attention to every new article on this matter, however small or inconsequential it might be (like my blog). You are 'activists' afterall. However, it might surprise you that when I wrote my previous blog, it was not with a selective heed to the topic. What you posted in my comments section was one of your articles that I had not just skimmed through, save ignored- but read and followed completely when I was writing my last post.
From what I understand, your motive behind promoting these facts is not absolute. I might be completely wrong or as you said, imbalanced about my ideas. However, your actions are definitely relative to a personal disadvantage that either you or your friends faced in the contest. I wouldn't want to comment on this abstract as I am not sure about many things here:
a. What is the source of your information? Was it an insider that gave you a live feed on every step during the selection process? If so, then do you claim to take less merit from our corrupt system than the govt. you blame?
b. Why were you keeping a background check on every candidate and how did you know that one had connections with the ministers? Even so, he didn't win. Or did he?
c. Why is it that you raise voice now about the 'ads in english language' and not when ads came out?
d. Did D Udaya Kumar accept that he submitted 4 designs? And are you confident that the rest 2644 participants that you are fighting for stand honest to you?
e. What is it that your organization seeks? A new contest? Change the symbol now that it has been internationally accepted? Or compensations for all participants of contest- but..I am sure it is not just the prize money that they were contesting for?
Anyone can be blurried by a small and current picture of our system but it takes patience and the wisests to look beyond imperfections and at the bigger picture. All that I care is how India leaves an impact on the globe. We stand opinionated and at the different poles. You have as much a freedom of speech and expression as I have, thanks to the democratic system we have. We all benefit from it as much at times as we suffer on other days.
Just so that you understand- I pen my thoughts which I hardly bring out in conversations as they seem not vital for others but project a personal observation of mine. They are not to begin any arguments with anyone but to feed to a hobby of this small writer in me. I would be obliged if you respect my space as much as I would respect yours.
